As the Chief Investment Officer and Financial Advisor at Mediate Financial Services, John helps oversee $100 million+ in assets under management, guiding more than 350 client households with clarity, integrity, and confidence.

John joined Mediate Financial as an intern in 2019 and quickly rose through the ranks thanks to his work ethic, adaptability, and exceptional grasp of investment strategy. From marketing initiatives and annuity operations to client servicing and portfolio construction, John has worn many hats — ultimately becoming a key figure in the firm’s sustained growth and trusted “right hand” to the president and founder. Today, he leads the development of asset allocation strategies, risk management frameworks, and financial planning models that help clients navigate both opportunity and uncertainty.

A proud graduate of Youngstown State University, John earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance in just three years while working two jobs, and later completed his MBA in Organizational Leadership by 2022. He continues to pursue advanced education through continuing education (CE) credits and industry certifications, setting a powerful example for young professionals inside and outside the firm. His commitment to lifelong learning and thoughtful leadership is helping shape a new era of financial advisory grounded in transparency, purpose, and long-term value.

Community involvement is central to John’s ethos. Under the firm’s “4th Bucket” initiative, he actively participates in service efforts like the Project MKC Diaper Drive, Second Harvest Food Bank’s annual food drive, Mahoning County Children Services Pinwheel Planting, and Ohio Special Olympics. He is also a passionate advocate for financial literacy, guest speaking at Boardman and Struthers High Schools, and sitting on alumni career panels at YSU to mentor future finance professionals.
